Whether you're traveling with friends and family, planning a romantic getaway, or need some "me time", there’s no better place than Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula.

Any-day, anytime you can experience the wonders of the Pacific Northwest. Hike through lush forests, bike along the coast with breathtaking views, and listen to waves crash on the shores of our 28 miles of beach. Wide open spaces are waiting for you!

Don’t know where to start? Check out our Places to Stay page, where you can find all lodging options. Looking for the best rates? Our local tip is to try a mid-week (Tuesday thru Thursday) or off-season (October thru Feb) stay for the best rates and availability.
Shop Local, Eat Fresh
Lettuce celebrate the beginning of Spring and Summer, which means it’s time for Farmers Markets. Rich soil and a mild climate are the perfect mixture for a variety of crops! That’s why “Dine at the Source” is a way of life in Pacific County. You won’t have to sacrifice convenience for quality. Enjoy a steamy cappuccino, snack on some decadent caramel corn, and peruse the outdoor market and pick up some fresh fruits and vegetables.

  • This market features vendors along the pedestrian-only Waterfront Way overlooking the Port of Ilwaco Marina and Baker Bay. Find regional produce, wonderful baked goods, a huge selection of local plants and many homemade arts and crafts.
  • Starting June 5th this market will operate in downtown Long Beach at Veteran's Field, Friday’s 12pm to 5pm. At the market, talk with food vendors while you purchase your week’s produce, seafood and meat. Pick up some locally-made baked goods, flowers, plants, and on-site prepared foods.
The Race is On!
The Corinthian Yacht Club of Portland, along with its title sponsor Schooner Creek Boat Works, is proud to present the 45th edition of the Pacific NW Offshore Yacht Race. One hundred ninety-three miles long, this race runs from the mouth of the Columbia River up the Washington coast and down the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Port Angeles. Come and see these majestic sailing yachts at the Port of Ilwaco. Follow the race online here. Help send off the crews the morning of June 10th, between 7:30am and 9:30am as they glide by the boat launch area at Cape Disappointment State Park. There’s nothing like it! Be There!
