A luncheon to honor all of Frisco Family Services’ priceless volunteers was enjoyed by all on April 20th at Blue Mesa Grill. Volunteers and staff shared a delicious lunch together, followed by an award ceremony that gave special recognition to several volunteers, and a raffle that perfectly ended the heartwarming and exciting event!

Congratulations to Tyler Clutts for being recognized as our Board Member of the year!
He has truly gone above and beyond in his volunteer support, and we cannot thank him enough for all that he does for this community!

A special thank you to all of our local sponsors:
Aw Shucks, Celebrity Bakery, Chick-fil-A , Frisco Resale, and Raising Cane’s

"Serving is the currency to elevation."
Thank you to  Justin Forsett , former NFL running back, for being the guest speaker.
His words were truly inspiring to all!
Board of Directors Spotlight
We would like to take a moment to recognize just one of the very valuable members of our Board of Directors, John Valker - Vice President Operations & Operations Committee Chair.

“I have a passion for helping others going through hard times, and I want to help them build the skills needed to overcome adversity. One of the reasons being a part of Frisco Family Services appeals to me is because they offer a variety of programs and services that make building those important life skills possible,” states Mr. Valker, CIO for Daybreak Venture.

An avid as well as an excellent golfer, John also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and building life relationships. His favorite quote is “The graveyard of business is filled with companies that failed to realize that change is inevitable.”- (Henry Ford, 1937)

As his six years serving on the board comes to a close, John’s demonstrated support and commitment to Frisco Family Services will not be forgotten.

We treasure each and every Board member, and are so grateful for their time and talents dedicated to ensuring the success of our clients and building a caring community.

Cold Hands - Warm Hearts
It was a cold day in Frisco at Leadership Frisco XXI's Spring Planting event on April 7th, but neither cold nor rain keeps this community from showing they CARE!

Leadership Frisco XXI and a group of wonderful volunteers showed their commitment to making a difference in the lives of our neighbors in crisis at Frisco Family Services’ Community Garden.

Spring planting has officially begun!
All fresh, organic produce grown at the Community Garden is distributed through Frisco’s only community Food Pantry to our neighbors in crisis.
