RE:              Preservation 2.0 Application Portal Deadline Extended to July 13, 2026

SUMMARY:

In an effort to provide applicants with additional time to complete the application process, we are extending the Preservation 2.0 application deadline from May 20, 2026 to July 13, 2026. This is a one-time extension and the portal will close permanently on July 13, 2026, — no further extensions will be granted.

We continue to hear from the development community that applications are in process, and to support these efforts, the July 13 deadline provides all interested parties a meaningful opportunity to submit a complete and thoughtful application.

What's Next

IHDA will be actively supporting applicants during the extension period:

•      Additional webinars will be scheduled to provide guidance and answer questions. Watch for announcements via management bulletin and our website. A previously recorded information session is available for review here.

•      IHDA staff will conduct targeted outreach to the development community to provide direct assistance.

•      The Preservation 2.0 program webpage will be updated to reflect the new deadline and revised timeline.

HDA Connect Access

If you have not yet confirmed access to IHDA Connect, please do so immediately. Account and PID setup can take up to three (3) business days to process.

•   To request an IHDA Connect account and/or PID, visit: https://ppa.ihda.org

•      All development teams must have active accounts and Property Identification Numbers (PIDs) before submitting.

•      For users with existing accounts who have forgotten their password, a self-service reset is available at: https://connect.ihda.org

•      If you do not receive confirmation within three (3) business days, contact: IHDAconnecthelp@ihda.org
