Master Builders’ Association Safety Awards

The MBA Safety Awards recognizes member company’s excellent safety records and performance that have zero incident rates as well as incident rates below the national average. Contact the MBA office for a 2019 Safety Data Entry Form.

MBA Safety Champion Award 

MBA members are encouraged to nominate an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in guiding their company’s safety and health program to advance the safety of all construction workers.
Winner will be announced at The Construction Industry Evening of Excellence.

  • Have No Fear! Halloween is Here

Halloween is a fun-filled time for children, but there are many dangers associated with the holiday unrelated to ghouls, goblins and witches. Parents need to take the necessary  Halloween safety precautions  to make sure their children remain safe while still having fun.

  • Drive Safely as it gets Darker

Daylight Saving Time ends every year on the first Sunday in November. This means it starts to get darker earlier. As we set our clocks one hour back in most areas of the country, here are some tips for  driving at night .

Green Cross Tip: When you change your clocks, it's also a great time to check the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.


Cold weather is fast approaching. With it comes an increased risk of experiencing a trench cave-in. Please remember to have a competent person inspect your trenches before each shift for signs of a pending collapse. For more information click here .
