December 2025 Newsletter

We're wrapping up the fall semester and looking forward to some of our favorite events: Local, HS Mystery Retreat, and Student Life Camp!

But first, let's finish this semester with some fun!

Christmas Parties:

December 7 from 6-8 for High School

December 10 from 6-7:30 for Middle School

Make sure to bring a gift for White Elephant! (Less than $10 and the more creative, the better - we love a good half used gift card!) We'd love to see you there!

Each party is the last youth group meeting of 2025.

Student Life 2026

It might be hard to believe but Student Life will be here before you know it!

Signups will open on Monday, December 15. We will email a link on that day!

Student Life is a week FULL of worship, teaching, games, fun, and community! It's a student favorite every year and this year, by popular demand, we are headed BACK to Shocco Springs! Camp is a core part of what we do every year, and a great way to build community with MBCC Youth. If you have any questions or want to know more about camp, let us know!

This year we will be requiring payment in full at the time of sign up. As always, if finances are any kind of obstacle to your student joining us at camp, please let us know! We set aside money for scholarships and have opportunities for students to fundraise through our Pinestraw Fundraiser each spring.

Sanderlin Love

We love Bear and June!!!

If you would like to love on the Sanderlins by providing them with a meal

as they continue to settle in as a family of six, please click here.

DR Interest Meeting

We are so excited to be taking a team back to Niños de la Luz in the Dominican Republic next summer! Our trip will take place from July 4 - July 11, 2026.

We will be having an interest meeting on Dec. 14 at 9:15 in Room #9 - this is the room upstairs directly over the youth office. This is a REQUIRED meeting.

If you want to be considered for this team, you must attend this meeting

along with at least one parent. Can't wait to see what God is going to do!

Local 2026

Local 2025 signups are here! Signing up early helps us know how many host homes and leader we need and helps us prepare for a great weekend.

High School Mystery Retreat

We would love for your high schooler to join us for mystery retreat! It's a staff and student favorite each year as we go away for an intentional time of community, worship, and fun! Mark the details in your calendar - signups will come soon!
