Happy November! What a fun beginning to the fall temperatures we are experiencing! As we begin to approach the holiday season, we hope that you and your family have a chance to find some moments to stop, rest and be grateful for the incredible blessings God lavishes on us every day. We have some exciting events approaching soon, so keep reading to learn all the information about what's happening and how to sign up!

These two are God's precious gifts and masterpieces!

Friendsgiving 2025

Make sure your student doesn't miss Friendsgiving this year. This is a great night of fellowship when we can take some time to pause at this busy time of year and be grateful for all the Lord has done in our lives. And we will also fill our bellies! We will provide the turkey and the rolls and ask that MS students click here to sign up to bring a side. HS students will handle signups in Youth Group. If at all possible, please send dishes in a disposable container to help with clean up and to avoid lost dishes.

HS Friendsgiving is Sunday, November 16 from 6-7:45 pm

MS Friendsgiving is Wednesday, November 19 6-7:30 pm

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE!!

OCC Shoebox packing

Sunday, November 23 and Monday, November 24

Here is an incredible opportunity to work alongside other volunteers

to pack shoeboxes that ship out of our church and then go around the world

for children to hear and experience the love of Jesus through the giving of His people!

Click here to sign up for a shift. The church is happy to sign service hour forms!

On Sunday, 10th grade and younger must have a parent serving with them.

On Monday, the youth staff will be present, so all middle and high schoolers are welcome to join us even if a parent is unable to join!

Come serve Jesus with us in a tangible way!

LOCAL 2026

Local 2026 signups are near! Be on the lookout for Local signups beginning Nov 23rd!

Signing up early helps us know how many host homes and leader we need, and it helps

us prepare for a great weekend. Make sure you are signed up for Remind texts (see

at the bottom for how to get signed up) so you'll see the sign-up link on Nov 23rd!

High School Mystery Retreat

We would love for your high schooler to join us for mystery retreat! It's a staff and

student favorite each year as we go away for an intentional time of community,

worship, and fun! Mark the details in your calendar - signups will come soon!

We are so incredibly excited for this year of ministry, and as you can see above, we have a busy year ahead! Here is the link to our middle school calendar for the year. This has lots of important information on dates, ways to serve, and ways to contact Kyle and Kaitlyn. Hang it on your fridge! Put it in your family calendar! Frame it! Just kidding, don't frame it, but we do want you to have access to it! :)

High School Calendar

We Need Your Help!

We're so grateful for the parents of MBCC Youth - we couldn't do it without you! We need your help in four main areas of our ministry. First, we could use assistance with watching the gym during Sunday Community Group hour. If you are available, please sign up!

Second and third, we need lots of help with filling up our meal sign-ups for the semester for middle and high school. Please commit to bringing a dish on at least one of the nights available for middle school and/or picking up food and helping serve for high school depending on whichever ministries your students are in!

Fourth and finally, we will need childcare help during our Sunday night High School Youth Group meetings. This childcare is for the children of our volunteers so that our volunteers can be fully focused on your students! Please go ahead and check your calendar for dates you might be available and sign up if you can.
