Camp Klurman Celebrated the 4th of July
Camp Klurman embraced the spirit of independence and excitement as it celebrated the 4th of July with an unforgettable Wacky Wednesday themed event, "It's a party in the USA." The camp was transformed into a kaleidoscope of red, white, and blue hues, courtesy of our enthusiastic campers, counselors, and staff. Campers also embarked on adventures to various destinations like the bowling alley, the enchanting Venetian pools, the captivating Biscayne nature center, and the prestigious Perez Art Museum. The week ended with the highly anticipated water carnival, a beloved tradition that left everyone exhilarated and eagerly anticipating the adventures that await in the upcoming week.

Teen Athletes Head to Israel!
Our talented teen athletes from Miami Beach are embarking on an incredible adventure as they board the plane to Israel for the Maccabi Games, taking place from July 5 to 25. With teams representing tennis, basketball, soccer, football, and swimming, these athletes are ready to showcase their skills on an international stage.
Beyond the thrill of competition, this journey offers our athletes a unique opportunity to receive top-notch coaching and elevate their athletic prowess. As they strive to excel in their respective sports, they will also immerse themselves in a meaningful experience filled with unforgettable moments.
From rafting down the Jordan River to witnessing the mesmerizing sunrise atop Masada, JCC Maccabi 2023 promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these dedicated athletes. As they prepare to compete and explore the wonders of Israel, we wish them success and a journey filled with incredible memories.

The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce's Heroes Breakfast
The Miami Beach JCC recently attended the 9th Annual Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce's Heroes Breakfast. This beautiful program, which our MBJCC sponsors, aimed to acknowledge and honor the first responders within our community. The program was a remarkable display of gratitude towards these individuals who tirelessly serve and protect the Miami Beach area.
The JCC's professional staff team had the privilege of joining our partner Baptist Health at their table during the breakfast.
Overall, the Miami Beach JCC's presence at the Heroes Breakfast was a testament to our commitment to the community and their appreciation for these brave first responders and their continued efforts to keep Miami Beach safe.

Camp Klurman at the MBJCC is the premier day camp on Miami Beach. We offer weekly options, daily instructional swim/boating, sports, performing arts, robotics, in-house entertainment, various specialty camps, and a Kosher lunch. For ages three years to 8th grade. Register today. Every Summer has a Story to Tell.
