REMINDER: Please only park in the MBJCC parking lot when using the MBJCC facility. Members/guests are not allowed to leave their cars in the MBJCC parking lot while away from the campus.

JCC Maccabi 2023 Is Going to Israel and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida!

In summer 2023, 3,000 Jewish teen athletes, ages 12-17 and representing communities from across the globe, will come together to experience the magic of JCC Maccabi, the world’s largest Jewish youth sports event. Among the highlights of this unique, Olympic-style Jewish experience will be: sports competitions, including opening and closing ceremonies; travel; community service; social and cultural events; and opportunities to create Jewish connections, friendships, and memories to last a lifetime!

Evan Beloff’s documentary follows the lives of several members of the Shira Choir, comprised of an exceptional group of singers with special needs, and the choirmaster that unites them.


Preceding the film presentation, the Miami Sound Choir will perform a special rehearsal. Following the film, Specialists with the Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance will address the issues that adults with disabilities and their families face.


This special event is presented in celebration of Jewish Disabilities Awareness and Inclusion Month and is made possible with the support of the Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance, Miami Beach JCC, UM CARD, Casa Familia, Miami Sound Space, and the Miami Jewish Film Festival.

The Miami Beach JCC parking lot is reserved for members and program participants only.


ADDITIONAL PARKING OPTIONS

1. Valet Parking: Valet Service is FREE for Members. The valet guest fee is $6.

2. Municipal Parking Garage 42nd St. & Sheridan Ave. The garage fee is $1.00 per hour

3. Public Metered Parking between 40th & 42nd Streets. The Meter fee is $1/hour

All metered parking is enforced from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, seven days/week.

J-Cafe is open and features pizza, wraps, muffins, crepes, snacks, ice cream, drinks, smoothies, coffee, and more! Serving Kosher-only products
