Dear Valued Miami Beach JCC Member,
We here at our Galbut Family Miami Beach JCC on the Simkins Family Campus are extremely proud of the positive impact that we continue to make within our beautiful community. We now serve close to 6,000 individuals through our high-quality social, cultural, and recreational program services within our state-of-the-art facilities. We are also proudly in the process of implementing recent Strategic Planning objectives - designed to help move our agency into the future with strength and foresight. That said, these past few years have presented some unprecedented challenges: between navigating through a global pandemic followed by the current War in Israel. Through it all, our Miami Beach JCC has continued to be a true “beacon of light” during some very challenging times. Our emphasis always stays focused on remaining an agency of True Excellence, which we proudly continue to be recognized for.
As with most businesses though during these challenging times, we have seen an increase in overall operating expenses, which includes security, insurance, supplies, labor costs, facility cleaning, equipment, transportation, and, of course, basic utilities. This has affected our non-profit agency’s budget substantially. Because of that, our Miami Beach JCC Board of Directors unanimously approved a slight 7% increase to MBJCC Membership Fees effective January 1st. These are the following updated monthly rates that will be put into effect: $155 for Family Memberships, $125 for Couple Memberships and Single Parent Memberships, $95 for all Individual Memberships, $90 for Senior Couples, $75 for Senior Individuals, $42 for Teens and $770 for Arts & Culture.
On behalf of the Miami Beach JCC’s Board of Directors and Professional Leadership, we appreciate and value your continued support and commitment to our organization, and thank you for your ongoing patronage. We look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends here at our Center, where we make a positive difference each-and-every day.
All the best,
