Ontario Implementing Additional Measures at Bars and
Restaurants to Help Limit the Spread of COVID-19
The Ontario government, in consultation with the Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health, has amended orders O. Reg 364/20: Rules for Areas in Stage 3 and O. Reg. 263/20: Rules for Areas in Stage 2, under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020, implementing additional measures for restaurants, bars, and other food or drink establishments, as the province carefully and gradually reopens.
COVID Alert Available for Download Beginning Today
As Ontarians continue to do their part to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the Ontario government is encouraging everyone to download the new COVID Alert app on their smart phone from the Apple and Google Play app stores. This app, which is available beginning today, lets users know if they may have been exposed to the virus.

Canadians are encouraged to watch the Canada United videos online at  GoCanadaUnited.ca , like posts from  @GoCanadaUnited  on social media and use #CanadaUnited to demonstrate their support. For each of these actions until August 31, 2020, RBC will contribute 5 cents up to a maximum contribution amount of $2 million to the new Canada United Small Business Relief Fund.

City of Mississauga Preparing to Enter Stage 3 of Province’s Reopening Plan
Following the Government of Ontario’s announcement today, Mississauga, as part of the Region of Peel, has been given the green light to enter Stage 3 of   Ontario’s Framework for Reopening Our Province today.
Mississauga's recovery status: Stage 3
The City of Mississauga’s Economic Development Office (EDO) is committed to helping Mississauga businesses gradually reopen.
This program provides an opportunity for people 18 years and over to receive free training and mentorship from professionals on how to start, expand, or purchase a business. The program also offers an opportunity to apply for a program grant of up to $5,000. Please note: information sessions are mandatory to attend to qualify for this program. For Start-Ups and Main Street Businesses: August 4 and August 6, 2020, are available. For Music Industry Entrepreneurs: August 11 and August 13, 2020, are available.
