Hawaii DOT Director Ed Sniffen will be joined by Road Usage Charge Project Manager Mindy Kimura to review the transition from pilot to the staged implementation of full road charging in Hawaii in ten years. Now, less than 8 months to full launch, the HDOT team is hard at work preparing the new HiRUC program: coordinating between four county department of motor vehicles, modernizing an in-house motor vehicle inspection and preparing a long-term transition plan. Hear the updates on each of these critical stages!
