Virtue of the Week (10/9 - 10/20): CHARITY
Charity enables one to love as God loves, to love God above all things, and one’s neighbor as oneself.
Living a life of virtue enables and prepares us to encounter Jesus Christ more fully, and leads to a deep and lasting happiness. We will be focusing on one specific virtue every two weeks.
| | |
Word of the Week - Next week's word: Duplicitous
Last year we began a school-wide initiative to increase student literacy by focusing on one vocabulary word each week. The selected words are fairly common in texts but may not be part of students' working vocabulary. Use this link to find out more about this week's word, get tips for your home or classroom, and learn how to use this word in a sentence.
