A Message from our Chairman
Mike Davis
This summer, MC3 came alive! Performances ran the gamut from ballet concerts to rock bands. The added depth to the stage at StageOne provided more space for performances, which was much appreciated and needed by many. Having Comacell Brown’s mural celebrating Carr’s Beach added a real touch of excitement and community to the events held on the Lawn. Weddings, art opening receptions, student performances and so many other events maintained the sense that MC3 is now an organization with a mission.
And that mission is moving forward as well. Our Board membership is now full, and it reflects the real diversity of interests, of skills, and of people that make up our wonderful community. If you have a chance, take a look at MC3Annapolis.org and see many of the changes we talked about a year ago, are now happening.
Soon, we hope to be able to report real progress in our planning for the cultural/performance and conference center for MC3. That is, after all, our mission, to create a world-class cultural and conference center. Thank you all for helping get us to where we are right now, and for believing we can accomplish our mission.
