Grade Apps

This district is hearing that some HS students are using a mobile app called GradeWay to see their grades stored in eSchoolPlus HAC. In order to use this app, students/parents give their HAC password away to these unknown apps and therefore give access to all their private student record information contained in HAC.  

This has happened before with other mobile apps that use HAC credentials to produce their own School app, which is why the District purchased the eSchoolPlus Family app.

Please understand GradeWay (and apps like it, that access HAC) are not District approved. Students/parents who use apps that are not District approved, do so at their own risk.

MCA is looking for new SAC members.

The MCA School Advisory Committee is looking for new members. Our meetings are held at 4:00PM on the last Tuesday of each month at the school. If you can attend, we would like for you to join us. If you are interested in joining, please let Art Thomas know at Arthur.thomas@stjohns.k12.fl.us and he will get you more information. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday March 26^th, and we would value your input.

Any student that purchases a shirt will get $2 off their Whit’s purchase for all of 2024 and 10% of the sales will be donated back to MCA. Orders are open until March 10th. FAST PM3 Testing Information

Mustang Gallop

Who: K-5

When: March 5, 2024; Classes will be assigned a time. 

Why: This fundraiser gives students a chance to practice the character trait of "caring." Students will help raise money to help support their school. This year, students are raising money to upgrade the elementary music instruments as well as support technology upgrades. 

Where: Fields in the back of the school are set up in 3 tracks.

How: Students will go outside with their class at the designated time. They will have a fun class picture taken, "gallop" laps around a track while earning donations from friends and family, and finish with a treat before returning to class. Parents are encouraged to volunteer or come as spectators to cheer on our Mustangs! The top 4 earners will win exciting prizes and all students who raise $25 or more will receive a goody bag. Middle School Social:  The final Middle School Social will take place on Friday, March 22nd from 3-5:00 PM. Permission forms are available by clicking here, and must be handed in by Tuesday, March 19th. There is LIMITED SPACE, so get those permission slips in soon - first come, first serve. Want to ensure your child will attend the social? Volunteer!! Sign up to help us make this a great event for our Middle School students!

Elections Nominations and April PTA Meeting:  PTA Election Nominations are due on Monday, March 25th! Then, join us on Tuesday, April 2nd from 4:00 - 5:00 for the April PTA meeting and elections in the MCA Media Center.
