PTA NEWS

WHAT is Buddy A Thon?  This is Mill Creek's first fundraiser of the year. This year’s theme is “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully”.  Your child can raise money for their school and can pick a huggable, lovable Buddy. Buddies are 16" in size and “department store” quality.  Students will get to help “build their own” buddy at the Buddy Stuffing Event at our school soon after the conclusion of our program.  Funds raised will be used for Technology, Materials for Related Arts & Elective Teachers, and Instructional Resource Materials.

WHEN:  The fundraiser runs Monday Sept 23rd – Friday October 4th.  Stuffing day will be Thurs Oct 17 and Fri Oct 18.

HOW can you participate?

1.       Read over the parent letter (it was sent home with your student)

2.       Register your child online and send 10 texts/emails tonight.

3.       Once your child sends 10 emails/texts, send in the “Golden Ticket” to earn special prizes.  This year they will get a Dexter keychain, slap bracelet and a lanyard.

4.       Once your child raises $20, send in the “Daily Drawing” Coupon for an entry into a daily drawing to win special prizes.

THERE ARE CLASS PRIZES TOO!!  Each class that has at least half of their students send 10 texts/emails (returns a golden ticket) will earn 1 "CLASS Buddy".  Also, the class that raises the most $$ will earn a Maximus delivered donut party!!!!

Thank you for supporting your Mill Creek Academy!!!  And remember, “We may all look different on the outside, but we all have the same “stuffing” on the inside”.

Join us for a magical night! Harry Potter trivia will be October 4th at 6-830p in the MCA Cafe. Registration closes on September 30th! Click the link to register!
