Volunteer Spotlight
Lisa DeRosa-Costanza

Q. Give us a brief description of yourself.

Hi! I am Lisa DeRosa-Costanza a mom, a wife, and a trapeze artist balancing this beautiful thing  called Life! Just Living my Style one day at a time...

Q. How long have you been a volunteer at MCA-TV?

A year and half.

Q. What inspired you to take our production class?

Well, I have always loved everything about TV/Film production, I would bring my daughter on sets  when I would book a commercial and pilot series stuff, many MOONs ago, like the pun, anyways
it was great fun and great experiences in which she would see the creative process behind the scenes  which I LOVE! The creation of something and it truly takes a TEAM to make it all happen. So being a new r esident to Moon, which believe me I was very nervous about moving to new area, but I wanted to get back  to being me, and meet people in the community, and my beautiful daughter inspired me to Go For It and Do It, so I  decided to go for it and so glad I did!

Q. What do you enjoy most about volunteering at MCA-TV?

Hands down YINZ! what I mean by that is this, at this point in my life what I needed the most  was a creative outlet which is not stressful, but enjoyable and that is what I found EVERYONE at the  studio, volunteers, just everyone, the whole environment is what I enjoy the most!

Q. Tell us about your show,  Living Style with Lisa .

Living Style with Lisa is all about fun, simple diy's, and talking with people who are pursuing passions in  our communities and beyond. Truly Living their Style and owning it.

Q. Where did you get the idea to produce Living Style with Lisa?

The idea behind Living Style with Lisa starts way back... as a child I would create, design, and really  just always be on the move, drove my mom nuts, in a good way!  Then came Mr. Fred Rogers and  he is a big influence in my life, he inspired creativity and never giving up on what truly makes you happy  no matter what happens in your Life. So Living Style with Lisa was an idea I created with all my  enjoyments in Life which I love to do and in hopes the viewers find enjoyable too.

Q. Do you have any other shows you'd like to create in the future?

At the moment no...I'm having so much fun with Living Style with Lisa and have new ideas  with the show on the horizon...but you never know! You know what they say never say never.

Thank you! and remember to Live Well...Enjoy Life...and Love being YOU!

The rules are pretty simple, any Moon resident can produce a show or non-residents can work with a community producer to sign off on their production and help gather volunteers!

What is a community producer, you ask?
A community producer is a Moon Township resident that has gone through our production course.

If you are not a community producer, we can help pair you up with one!  We currently have about 15 active community producers ready to help you get your show on the road!  The process is easy! Just contact Allison Ford at [email protected] with information about your idea and you are on your way!
