Join Dr. Paige Pullen of University of Florida Lastinger Center and Jenn Faber of Florida's Grade-Level Reading Campaign for a one-hour literacy presentation designed for out-of-school time providers working with Pre-K through 5th grade students. Learn more about DCF's five-hour 'Supporting Literacy in School-Age Programs' training module, and enjoy a sample lesson on how building vocabulary influences reading comprehension.
Early Learning is 'No Small Matter': Documentary Screening & Advocacy Panel Discussion

The Florida Grade-Level Reading Campaign will be hosting a virtual screening of the No Small Matter documentary, then facilitating a powerful discussion on the importance of advocating for early learning! Our panelists will include: Florida Representative Erin Grall; Ralph Smith, Managing Director -Campaign for Grade-Level Reading; Dr. Nicole Patton-Terry, FSU - Florida Center for Reading Research, and Dave Heaton, Florida Children's Council Board Chair and Executive Director of Martin County Children's Services Council.
Registrants will receive a link on the evening of July 15th to view the No Small Matter 75-minute documentary prior to our Advocacy Panel Discussion on July 16th at 3:30pm (Eastern).
