MCB Managing Partner Transition
Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP is pleased to announce that Michael N. Romano will be transitioning into the role of Managing Partner over the next several weeks.

Michael was the Managing Partner, as well as Appellate Counsel, at Pilkington & Leggett, P.C., for over 18 years. In addition to Michael’s responsibilities as the Managing Partner, he prepared and argued all major summary judgment and dismissal motions in the lower courts and on appeal. During his career, he has developed an expertise in all phases of appellate practice, perfecting, and arguing appeals in the Appellate Divisions throughout New York State.

Similar to his role at Pilkington & Leggett, P.C., Michael will be the main liaison to you on all case-related and client management issues. Michael will ensure that the Firm meets your demands and continues to provide you with effective, efficient and results-driven services. In addition, he will oversee the professional development initiatives and activities for the attorneys, along with supervising the intake of all new cases, and managing attorney education, mentoring and training.
We are extremely grateful to our partner Jacqueline D. Berger, who has served as the Firm’s interim Managing Partner over the past 6 months. Over this time period, Jackie has done an excellent job in managing the various responsibilities of this position while also managing her case load. In particular, we thank Jackie for the creation and implementation of the Firm’s new mentoring program for our associates.

Please join us in congratulating Jackie on a job well done, and welcome Mike into his new role at MCB.
