Immigration Law Basics

Our speaker is Richard Hanus. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Illinois College of Law.   He has been practicing exclusively immigration law since 1990, representing individual and corporate clientele in family and employment based immigration matters.  He also provides deportation defense representation for individuals before the U.S. Department of Justice's Executive Office of Immigration Review, (Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals) as well as before U.S. District Courts and U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal.   Richard writes on a wide range of immigration law topics for his blog at , and for various local and national print media, including the Wall Street Journal.   He is a frequent lecturer on immigration law topics for local and national bar associations, social service agencies as well as the University of Illinois College of Law. Luncheon Cost:  $17.00 for members, $20.00 for non-members,
