Radius Gallery: 2nd Annual Juried Exhibition Opening Reception

Join Radius Gallery in celebrating their 2nd Annual Juried exhibition designed to bring together exciting new works and interpretations on a theme from around the nation. This year over 50 artists will exhibit 100+ works on the theme of "The Changing Moment." The opening reception will be held Saturday, July 30, from 5-8 PM. 

Many local favorites are joined by talented artists from near and far. As always, the art at Radius defies expectation. "The Changing Moment" exhibit runs July 30- September 16.

Celtic Festival Missoula

Celtic Festival Missoula is an annual celebration of great Celtic culture, focusing on music, dance and food. This year's festival takes place in Caras Park, July 29-30, and is free and open to the public. Visit the website for more details.

Come celebrate the soft launch of  Danceador.com  and their upcoming dance video contest in partnership with the Audience Awards contest platform on National Dance Day! Enjoy live dance and music, while sipping your favorite Zootown Brew beverage in their beautiful new space. To be held on Saturday, July 30th from 12-4 PM, the event is free and open to the public.
For the event, Danceador will be showcasing as many dance genres as possible, including Indonesian, West African, jazz, modern, ballet and clogging, and more. The organization will also have live music by fusion trio, Tusk.  Danceador will hold a raffle at the event with giveaway items.

Kidsfest at Caras Park

Kids and kids at heart are invited to j oin Missoula Parks and Recreation for a free event at Caras Park with games, activities with local organizations, live music, and yummy food! Free Showcase at MCT

The Missoula Children's Theatre's Next Step Prep class of 2016 invites the public to a FREE showcase at 7:30pm on Thursday, July 28th at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts.  This 90-minute showcase features 23 talented high school students from around the US and beyond.
They've spent the past 6 weeks learning from Broadway and other professionals on singing, dance and acting skills.  Enjoy the work of high-spirited, great teenagers in a fun, casual evening of entertainment.  MCTinc.org
Dolce Canto & Ansan City Choir

Did you know Missoula's own a cappella group, Dolce Canto, traveled to South Korea in April to sing with the Ansan City Choir? Their performances were broadcasted on South Korean national television, and now the videos are available on YouTube. Watch!

CoMotion Dance Project at Glacier National Park

Are you headed to Glacier National Park this week? Catch the premiere of the CoMotion Dance Project, "Changing Balance/Balancing Change," with performances on Monday and Wednesday evenings.  All performances are free and lasts an hour.

Wednesday, July 27: West Glacier Community Center, 8:00 PM

"Changing Balance/Balancing Change" was written by Steve Kalling and Karen Kaufmann and produced by The CoMotion Dance Project. Over 50 artists contributed to the creation of this new work!  Original Music by Steve Kalling & 20+ Montana musicians, mixed and mastered by Jason Hicks. Find out more about this project here.
Night at the Landing

Night at the Landing is an inspiring night of teen performance as Empowerment through Performance workshop program. The show will be followed by a benefit concert by local artist Dixie Riddle. The event takes place at Stillwater Landing in Whitefish on Saturday, July 30, at 6:30 PM. Suggested $15 donation at the door and food and drink available for purchase.
Beartooth Plein Air Society Blitz

Come and join in the fun. All levels of experience and all media are welcome. Free adult activity. Five days of creative exploration of the Red Lodge area. Meet at 9:00 AM, Monday July 25th, at the Carbon County Arts Guild and Depot Gallery. Bring water, lunch, and art supplies. Killdeer Artisans' Guild Summer Raffle

Killdeer Artisans' Guild is holding a summer raffle fundraiser. The raffle is for a watercolor by artist Jim Boot titled, " Patchy Valley Fog With Chance of Bull," retailed at $450. You may v iew Boot's watercolors at Hangin' Art Gallery in Arlee.

Tuesday Night Farmers' Market

The Missoula Farmers Market, a gathering of food and friends since 1972. Tuesdays 5:30 -7 PM, July 5 through September 27, 2016. Market opens with fresh local produce, flowers, baked goods and coffee provided by over 100 vendors. Located in Circle Square (at the north end of Higgins Avenue - by the XXX's) the market will feature early spring vegetables, bedding plants and a wonderful social atmosphere. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.  This position has primary responsibility for securing sufficient funds to realize the ZACC's goals and objectives both capital and programmatic.This position requires creativity and innovation and a close working relationship with the Executive Director. Seeking volunteers for the Carousel ' Fairy Tale and  Superhero Festival on July 30

A Carousel for Missoula needs volunteers for its annual Fairy Tale and  Superhero Festival, Saturday, July 30.  Volunteers will help with set-up, activities, and clean-up from 8:30 AM - 1 PM on the day of the event. They also need volunteers to help stuff 500 goodie bags in preparation for the event. Please call the Carousel at 549-8382,  or sign up to  volunteer online.
