"2021 presented us with great challenges in insurmountable ways, however, this organization has allowed us to excel in spite of it all. I look forward to 2022 with great pride, and my goal is still the same, and that is to be the number one RPO in the WBENC organization and I still believe that it will happen."

Welcome to the WBENC Forum's corner! This serves an opportunity for you to get to meet our forum representatives and hear more about their story. This month, we will hear from representative Molly Zraik.
|
|
Hello everyone! My name is Molly Zraik and I’m the Founder and CEO of the BAZ Group where we manage complex telecom, mobile and cloud services so you have the lowest cost possible and the support you need to ensure they stay that way.
My career began in 1990, when I was fresh out of college! After graduation, I began selling a service very similar to what BAZ does for another small company. I learned so much about business and people and our industry in my early days of cold calling. I was fascinated when I realized that the phone companies were not truly serving their customers. With each client I brought in, I learned more and more about the industry, and I continued to see how much the telecom companies are often the source of aggravation and frustration for their customers. Two and a half years after I started, I left that company to start BAZ with the mission to take my clients’ telecom headaches away.
I’m extremely passionate about personal growth and development for myself and my team which is why I took the steps to become a certified WBE in 2015. Since receiving my certification, I began making connections, getting involved and participating in as many development opportunities as I could. In 2018 I joined the Forum Leadership Team.
The Leadership Team allows me to connect, share, and build with other highly engaged WBEs across the country. I’ve learned a lot by being on this team, but most of all, I’ve learned how to be a better leader and have gained guidance on how to help my company develop and grow.
I think participation in the forum is important for our network for so many reasons, namely because The WBENC National Staff and the leaders of the other 13 RPOs are all working towards the same mission as the ORV Staff. They all want to see women businesses grow and thrive and The Forum provides a chance for us to connect and exchange and develop ideas to do this.
The great thing about being certified is the access to other WBEs for networking and collaboration purposes. I’ve been exposed to other business owners that I wouldn’t have crossed paths with had it not been for WBENC. When faced with business needs, I first look to WBEs who specialize in the service that I need. I have used other WBEs for network security assessments, marketing and social media consulting, promotional products, a remote virtual assistant, employee recruitment and placement. It’s great to be able to have access to such a dynamic network for women-owned businesses!
