Outsiders : Walking In One Accord

This week, we explore how 1 Peter 3:8–12 calls us to live in unity through humility, compassion, and love. We are challenged to respond to mistreatment with blessing, pursue peace, and reflect Christ in our interactions with others. Through our actions, we have the opportunity to share God’s love and point others toward Him.

Here are the contribution numbers thru 09/30/2026.

Contributions Received $749,524

Contributions Budgeted $914,057

Contributions Under Budget $164,533

This represents 18% below budgeted giving.

Get involved!

We are seeing some incredible movement across our church family this season! Over the past year, we’ve had over 600 people participate in our groups and classes. Right now, this fall, we have 451 of you actively engaged in ongoing community—whether that’s Life Groups, Men’s or Women’s groups, or Mom’s groups—building deep accountability, growth, and care together. Our Men’s Fall Retreat hosted 36 men, and we are celebrating one lake baptism!

Finally, 47 people completed Equipped to Pray, our very first MCC equipping class! This is just the beginning—we’re launching a whole series of upcoming courses to equip you for ministry, covering essentials like how to share the gospel, study the Bible, fast, and more.

Your stewardship is changing lives every day, and while so many have already leaned in, we need everyone’s partnership right now. If you haven't yet, this is your call to step up and join us.

Lead Pastor Updates

Over the past several weeks, the LPCC has spent extended time with each candidate and their spouse, allowing us to get to know them more personally and gain deeper insight into their character, leadership, pastoral heart, and alignment with MCC.

As we prayerfully consider all that we’ve learned, we are seeking God’s wisdom and direction in determining which candidate to present to the congregation for a call to serve as our next Lead Pastor.

We’re grateful for your continued prayers and encouragement throughout this process. Please continue praying with us as we navigate these important next steps.

If you have questions or insights you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you.

Weekly Prayer Prompt: Pray for wisdom, discernment, and clarity as the LPCC determines whom to present to the congregation as our next Lead Pastor.

Expert Panel on Late Life Decisions - November 8

Hear from experts on estate planning, downsizing, relocating, in-home assistance and more. Highly recommended for anyone 60 and up to begin planning to age well, or anyone with parents who are 60 and up so you can better understand the path they are walking and help provide coaching and support.

Light snacks will be provided.

Student Fall Retreat - November 20-22

This year, we are diving deep into TRUTH. We’re excited to welcome Peter Pizzuto and the Y2B team, who will be leading our main sessions and breakouts. They’ll be tackling tough, crucial questions students face today:

- Identity & Worldview: Who are you? What is truth? Are there moral absolutes?

- Apologetics: What evidence is there that God exists? Is the Bible truly trustworthy?

- Hard Questions: Why is there so much evil in the world?

- Worship Experience: With our new LED Wall and the return of our popular multi-station worship setup on Saturday night, we are creating an incredible environment to encounter God.

- Epic Activities: Zip line, giant swing, bonfires, large group games, sports (basketball, volleyball, Football, Dodgeball, etc), and plenty of hangout time.

- Extras: A coffee trailer, snack shop, t-shirt store, and more!

For 7-12 graders - Cost is $165

Gift of Hope - December 5 | 5pm - 8pm

Every Christmas, we have the incredible privilege of coming together to collect toys for local children and families who are facing tough times.

This year, we’re taking it a step further—we aren't just giving gifts, we're throwing a massive holiday party for these families! Think family photos, hot chocolate, crafts, and so much fun.
