Out Of Our Minds : Share The Gospel

The gospel transforms every part of our lives through Jesus and His promise to make all things new. As followers of Jesus, we are called to know Him, live like Him, and love like Him. We don’t keep this good news to ourselves—we share the hope of Jesus through our words, stories, and actions. This week, we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us to someone who needs to hear the gospel.

Be sure to check the MCC App weekly for sermon notes, discussion questions, and additional study resources!

Student Ministry Update

Parents of junior high and high school students there will be a meeting on September 13, 2026, at 12:00 in the Student Center to update you on some important developments in the search for the next MCC Student Pastor.

Annual Family Meeting - September 8th

So much can happen in a year—and we have a lot to celebrate! Join us on Tuesday, September 8th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm for our Annual Family Meeting.

We’ll reflect on the incredible milestones and stories from this past year, dive into the plans for the year ahead, and review key updates presented by our Elders. Most importantly, it's a chance to connect, catch up, and enjoy quality time together as a church family. Fellowship and Refreshments will be available before the meeting begins.

Voting is now open for our Annual Church Family Meeting recommendations.

You can cast your vote online in Realm through Tuesday, September 8, or in person via paper ballot at the Welcome Center.

Lead Pastor Updates

We are beginning additional candidate assessments and preparing for third-round interviews. These next steps will allow us to learn more about each candidate’s leadership, character, ministry experience, and fit with MCC, while continuing to explore areas more deeply through conversation and assessment tools.

We’re grateful for God’s continued guidance throughout this process and for your faithful prayers. Please continue praying for wisdom, clarity, and unity for the LPCC and for each candidate and their family as they discern God’s leading as well.

If you have questions or insights you'd like to share, we'd love to hear from you.

Weekly Prayer Prompt: Pray for wisdom and clarity for both the LPCC and our candidates as we discern God’s leading in these next steps.

Fall Clothing Drive - This Sunday

MCC is collecting Donations of Gently Used Warm Clothing for Adults and Children. The items collected will go to the Children and Families we serve in Outreach, and a group will also be packaging up Hygiene Bags to deliver and hand out to the local Homeless.

A blue bin is placed in the Atrium for you to donate.

Women's Worship Bonfire - Next Week

September 10 - 7pm-9pm Come to the Women’s Worship Bonfire in the beautiful backyard of the Schatz family (Montgomery). Gourmet s’mores, connection with women, time to worship and pray around the bonfire... what more could you want? Bring a lawn chair and come ready to be refreshed!

Registration isn’t required (but helps us to communicate if there’s a last minute change due to weather).

Invite your friends!

Practicing The Way - Begins September 15

Join us for this 8-session study led by the MCC Elders on what it looks like to cultivate a life of knowing Jesus and living and loving like Him. We’ll watch a video teaching by John Mark Comer and participate in group discussion.

We believe this study is a foundation to life as a disciple of Jesus. It is our desire that everyone at MCC participates in this study at some point in time.

From Wilderness to Victory Men's Retreat - September 25 - 27

Join a great group of MCC guys as we enjoy fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, and big-time spiritual growth together on a beautiful fall weekend along the Little Miami River in Milford—just a stone’s throw away.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.” -- Psalm 34:8”

Deadline to sign up is September 13.

Night of Worship & Documentary Showing - September 30

We celebrated Pastor Phil and Carol for their time here. Now let’s look back so we can look forward. This is a special night celebrating MCC as a church. Inspired by the "wise builder" in Matthew 7:24–27, this is the story of a church family built on the Rock—a body of believers constructed on a firm foundation that has faithfully withstood trials, transition, and even a tornado meant to tear down the house of the Lord.
