MCCA COVID-19 UPDATE | May 28, 2020

Certified Safety Badge & Protocol Update
MCCA is pleased to announce that we have complied with the Reopen Connecticut Sector Rules for Offices by implementing practical, reasonable, evidence-informed safety protocols, and modifications.

Because the safety of our clients and staff is of utmost importance, we feel it is important to inform current and future clients about the positive changes we have implemented at our agency — because nobody should be forced to put their recovery on hold.
Face Mask Required
Face masks prevent the transmission of a possible infection or virus to others. Face masks are required when entering MCCA clinics. If a client does not have one, we will provide one. Hand-sanitizing stations are available at all clinics.
Social Distancing
Signage in registration areas for social distancing have been added as well as additional signage about hand and cough hygiene. Currently, we are limiting our waiting areas to no more than five clients.
Cleaning & Disinfection
More frequent routine cleaning and daily disinfection of our facilities, including doors and handles, registration countertops, bathrooms, touch screens, and more .
Temperature Taking & Screening
All clients entering the building will have temperatures checked using no-touch scanning thermometers. During the intake process, questions about symptoms and travel will also be asked.
Telehealth
As we continue to offer Telehealth treatment, many appointments, including medication and individual and family therapy are available using your laptop, tablet or mobile device. Learn more .
