Input sought for MCCF strategic plan

An important part of any organization is a strategic plan; however, they become outdated over time as goals are met and the landscape of the community changes. MCCF is working with Transform Consulting Group (TCG) to help identify the needs and opportunities of Montgomery County. Whether or not you are familiar with MCCF, the feedback from community residents, like you, will be used in the development of the next MCCF strategic plan.

Your responses will be anonymous, and the data from this survey will be shared only in a summarized form. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes and is available until March 31, 2026. Upon completion, you can also enter to win one of five $50 Visa Cards.

Thank you for taking the time to help MCCF continue our work in Montgomery County. We look forward to hearing your thoughts! If you have any questions, please email Cathy Wright, senior project consultant at Transform Consulting Group here.

Special Visitors at the Montgomery County Early Learning Center

We welcomed representatives from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Senator Jim Banks' office, and KinderCare Learning Centers to the Montgomery County Early Learning Center in early March.

After a tour and classroom visits, local investors joined us for a conversation about the importance of early learning opportunities and what could be done at a legislative level to help alleviate child care challenges.

The unique partnership of local businesses, government, and philanthropy that made the MCELC a reality has drawn attention at both a state and national level. It is always rewarding to be able to showcase the generosity and support of Montgomery County in hopes that this model can be replicated in other communities. Grants in Action:

Local Libraries Receive Funds to Expand Offerings for Visually Impaired Patrons

MCCF administers the Luella Brake Trust Fund, which benefits the blind and visually impaired in Montgomery County. Each of our five local libraries received a grant of $1,000 from the fund to be used for large print books, audio books, and other resources. The Ladoga-Clark Township Public Library used their grant to order braille versions (right) of popular titles so all of their patrons could enjoy the same books. We love seeing MCCF grants at work in the community!
