NC COVID-19 Rapid Recovery Lending Program
This week, in partnership with the Golden LEAF Foundation, Thread Capital, and other NC nonprofits, the NC Rural Center has launched an emergency small business lending program in response to the ongoing economic impact of COVID-19 on NC’s entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The NC COVID-19 Rapid Recovery Lending Program , funded through support from the Golden LEAF Foundation, will be managed by the NC Rural Center, with direct lending facilitated by Thread Capital, Business Expanding Funding Corporation, Carolina Small Business Development Fund, Self-Help Credit Union, Mountain BizWorks, and Natural Capital Investment Fund.

Social distancing is currently the most effective way to slow the spread of COVID-19.  Unacast has created an interactive scoreboard, updated daily, to measure the effectiveness of social distancing at the local level.   Click here  to explore the data and review state social distancing grades.  By the way, NC currently has a D-.
