Measuring and Incentivizing Impact in Development Engineering and Global Health

In many countries, service providers are often utilities providing access to clean water, safe sanitation, and affordable energy. However, in many developing countries there remains a significant gap between the intent of service providers and the impacts measured over time. A combination of technologies may help address these information asymmetries and enable improved decisions and response. Deming Center Venture Fund Recruitment

This capital venture fund on campus is run entirely by graduate students and they are recruiting engineering and law students this semester. This fund helps early-stage startups in Boulder and the surrounding communities. It is a great opportunity to meet local entrepreneurs, attend pitch events, perform due diligence on companies, and make investment decisions that impact the local startup community. This online course has been designed to provide an in-depth overview of Disaster Risk Reduction Management to humanitarian professionals interested in expanding their knowledge.
