The WASH Symposium organizing committee is soliciting proposals for workshops, breakout sessions, panels or other creative sessions on divergent topics with the WASH sector. For these, please submit a letter of interest. You can also submit abstracts to propose oral presentations or posters on research, projects and programs related to the WASH sector.

EDC Conference Presentation  Travel Grants
MCEDC now offers small travel grants to students who present EDC-relevant work at conferences. Apply on the MCEDC Resources website, where you can also find links to department, college, and campus funding opportunities. Due to limited funding available, only students who are presenting EDC-relevant work can be funded by MCEDC.

The School of Public Affairs' interdisciplinary Science Technology and Environmental Policy Program is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor. Possible research areas include US and global environmental policy and governance, sustainable development, sustainable urban systems, smart cities, energy and transportation technology policy, energy transitions, food policy, risk analysis and management, management of food-energy-water interactions, and "big data" governance.  For more information and to apply.
Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Centre Internship Program

This partnership places graduate students in eastern or southern Africa to improve environmental communication and disaster prevention and preparedness.  For more information and to apply. You can also contact Katie Chambers, an EDC student who was a part of this program this summer.
Research Travel Scholarships
Do you plan to do graduate research abroad in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East or Latin America? Apply for the Boren Scholarship for travel in 2018-2019 academic year. The on-campus application closes in late January. Email steven.rose@colorado.edu.
