BIG 5 Bootcamp

A 5-week (March 15 - April 12) social innovation bootcamp that brings together diverse people to design solutions for social and environmental problems. The 2017 focus will be water, food, housing, education and connectivity. A group of 30 participants will form multi-disciplinary teams mentored by specialists and entrepreneurs.

Conference Scholarships Available for Engineering Sustainability 2017

Engineering Sustainability 2017 has funding available for a limited number of students and junior faculty members (assistant professor level) who wish to attend the conference and have research interests and/or expertise in the broad topic of sustainable engineering.  Funding will be considered up to a maximum of $1,000 per applicant and can include travel, hotel, and registration fees.   Apply here

USAID/FPP Summer Internships Available

USAID's Office of Food for Peace (FFP) in the Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA).  FFP is looking for interns to support its Geographic Division working as a Program Assistant or its Program Operations Division working as an IT Program Assistant in the Washington, DC headquarters location.  Depending on space availability, FFP may bring on one intern or more.  Interns can expect to have a substantive and rewarding experience as part of the DCHA/FFP team - once on board, interns are treated as full staff members. Intern for Marshall Direct Fund

Marshall Direct Fund (MDF) is seeking a part-time Program Intern. MDF is a nonprofit that was started in 2007 and provides access to primary and vocational education in Pakistan. Position will average approximately 10 hours per week and is unpaid, located at the Posner Center in Denver . Loyola University Chicago is now offering a one-year practice-oriented master's degree for non-lawyers. The Master of Jurisprudence in Rule of Law for Development is designed to support and strengthen the efforts of international professionals who do not have law degrees and are working to promote the rule of law in transitional economies and developing countries.
