MCEDC Will Be Hiring Student Assistants

This is a heads up that the Mortenson Center will likely hire two graduate students as Earn-learn Apprentices this year.  We are finalizing job descriptions, but the tasks are mainly administrative in nature. for example, we're looking for a student to produce these weekly digest (newsletters), manage the blog and facebook posts, and schedule events.  A second student will analyze survey responses and work to develop a plan for a student design competition.  Earn-learn Apprentices (ELAs) work up to 10 hours per week, are paid $12/hour, and cannot be already funded as teaching or research assistants.  There are no tuition benefits attached to this hourly position.  Keep an eye out on the upcoming newsletters for more information.
Conference Presentation Scholarships

EDC students are invited to apply for funds to help off-set the expenses of presenting their EDC-related work at conferences around the world.  For a full list of available funding sources, visit the Conference Funding Opportunities section of the MCEDC Resources website at https://www.colorado.edu/mcedc/resources-0
