There is a lot coming up this month. The Toys for Tots program is starting the last week in November and runs to December 21st for toy collections. Our bucket brigade is set for December 3rd, from 1000 to 1400. We will need a lot of volunteers since we are hitting 2 sites this year, Auburn and Worcester.

We will need approximately 8 volunteers for Worcester, and 8 to 10 for Auburn. We will be hoping for good weather but not cold. Marines should be in uniform with red jackets, but if you don’t have uniforms wear jackets, sweaters, covers that have Marine on them. Associates can get red jackets from Paul, or can wear Christmas clothing.
We will muster down at the league an hour before so that we can divide up for locations. Joe George is heading up this effort so, if you want to call him in advance his number is [508] 864- 8249.

Devil Dogs will be having their Growl on December 10th at 1300 this month. We will be having our Annual Dog Christmas Party with pizza on the menu.

New Marines that have their anniversary date of December 2015 or before are eligible to join the Devil Dog Fraternity, come to the Growl on December 10th and get the paper work started.

This month we will be installing the new E-Board Officers. The state Marine Corps League Commandant will be swearing them in to the League.

New Year’s Eve we will be having Joe Cariglia playing in the Leatherneck Lounge to bring in the New Year, there will be Free Champagne Toast at Midnight. Come down and enjoy the good music, socializing, and dance to a great beat and bring in the New Year.

From my E-Board and myself, we wish all Marines, Associates and employees a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Semper Fidelis
