This program is a joint effort with Marines and Associates working together for the under privileged children that we support. We will be soliciting both in Worcester and Auburn the first Saturday in December the 2

, with a rain date of the 9th of December. Even though we would stand in the rain or snow to solicit, the Town of Auburn won’t let us, that’s why the rain date.
As Commandant over the last 3 years it’s been a pleasure working with my staff, the associates, especially Gina LaConte who has stepped up unselfishly, and has helped me and the League in boosting our financial efforts to repair our collapsed seawall,” Thank You”. I also would like thank our Bar Staff, and our Bar Manager Arianna for her willingness to make our League better and increase our exposure to the public.

"You know, when I was a kid growing up, a lot of things were sacred in our country. Women were sacred, looked upon with great honor. That’s obviously not the case anymore as we see from recent cases. Life — the dignity of life — is sacred. That’s gone. Religion, that seems to be gone as well.
Gold Star families, I think that left in the convention over the summer. But I just thought — the selfless devotion that brings a man or woman to die on the battlefield, I just thought that that might be sacred.".

I’m the guy who was asked to join your organization,
I’m the guy who paid his dues to you,
I’m the guy who came to your meetings and no one paid any attention to,
I’m the guy who tried several times to be a friend, but they all had their own buddies to talk to and sit next to,
I’m the guy who came several times., but no one paid any attention to me, I’m the guy who was left out when I volunteered to help with fund raising projects and membership recruitments,
I’m the guy who missed a few meetings because I was sick, but at the next meeting no one asked where I had been. I guess it didn’t matter very much to others whether I was there or not,
I’m the guy who decided to stay home and watch TV one meeting night. The following meeting I attended, but no one asked where I had been, You might say I’m a good guy. A food family man who holds a responsible job, loves his country and his community,
You know who else I am?
THE GUY WHO NEVER CAME BACK!!!!!!!! It amused me to think that they spend so much time looking for NEW members when I was there all the time, All they needed to do was to make me feel needed, wanted and welcome.

Millions more vets to be able to shop at exchanges online
Honorably discharged veterans could be able to shop online at military exchange websites as early as Veterans Day, barring any objections from Congress.
The change in Defense Department policy would open up online exchange shopping privileges to about 18 million more people. It won’t apply to shopping at brick-and-mortar exchange stores.
