MCLP COVID-19 Update
The values of servant leadership are now more important than ever in light of COVID-19. MCLP is dedicated to upholding these values and serving this community. We will adapt to the challenges we face, together. After all, “Leadership must meet the moral challenge of its day.” - Jesse Jackson.

For Nonprofit Partners:
The essential work conducted by nonprofits during the COVID-19 outbreak is vital to our community and we are truly inspired by your efforts.
We are inviting community partners to submit project proposals to assist your organization in recovery efforts. We will continue to review all kinds of proposals, but given the pandemic is now central to our lives, we emphasize this opportunity for you to seek assistance from MCLP.
To date MCLP has helped more than 45 local organizations. See our prior projects list.

Meanwhile, if you want to contribute to COVID-19 Relief in our community, visit the United Way McLean website to learn more about how you can help.
For Class of 2021 MCLP Applicants:

As we plan MCLP programming during the pandemic, we have made some strategic changes to the Class of 2021 schedule.

We will now begin the new session on August 22, 2020, in response to health and planning concerns.

  • We have extended the application due date for 2021. It is now May 25, 2020. Click here to apply.
  • We are revising our curriculum to exist in a virtual space as needed.
  • We are reframing our program to incorporate topics related to leadership in uncertain times, including opportunities to work with local partners towards recovery.
In addition, there will be a Zoom information session on May 14 at 5:30 pm. Click here to register.
Stay strong. Stay healthy. Stay connected.

Uplifting the community, one leader at a time
