The official MCM and MCM10K e-Cards with bib number assignment will be sent by email on October 4. Runners are required to present the e-Card at Packet Pick-up either on a phone or a printed version.
Participants and guests can visit more than 150 exhibits and booths plus Packet Pick-up, the Wegmans Launch Zone and the MCM Brooks store at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center on Fri., Oct. 20 from
10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sat., Oct. 21
from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Take Metro to the Eisenhower or Van Dorn Metro station for a free shuttle ride to the Expo or park at National Harbor. The MCM will offer $8 off Gaylord parking. Get the parking ticket stamped at the parking table located outside the Health & Fitness Expo.
The 42nd MCM starts with the wheelchair and hand cycle division at 7:45 a.m. The MCM begins at 7:55 a.m. in Arlington, VA. MCM10K also starts at 7:55 a.m. on the National Mall. Marathoners must reach the DC Gauntlet by 12:33 p.m.; Beat the Bridge by 1:15 p.m.; and pass the Crystal City Gauntlet by 1:49 p.m.
Learn about MCM free parking in Crystal City, as well as shuttle routes. Remember Metro opens at 6 a.m. MCM runners should arrive at the Pentagon Metro station; while the MCM10K participants should use the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter station.
Track a Runner
Now available for the upcoming MCM, runners, supporters and loved ones from afar can sign up to receive live split updates sent by text or email, posted on a Facebook timeline or delivered over a Twitter feed. The service will track every MCM and MCM10K participant.
There is still time to sign up young runners between age 5-12 for the one-mile, just-for-fun MCM Kids Run presented by Virginia 529 on Sat., Oct. 21 at the Pentagon North parking lot. Limited registration remains for the MCM10K on Sun., Oct. 22 starting on the National Mall.
There are still seats for the MCM’s fantastic pasta dinner on Sat. Oct. 21 at the Gaylord National Resort. Endless carbs, a delicious buffet, entertainment by the American Bombshells and featured speaker world-class marathoner Michael Wardian.
Motivation on the Go
Put the cheers of your friends and loved ones in your ears while running MCM. This is the power of the Motigo app. Download for iOS and Android then invite friends and family to pre-record cheers. Runners will hear GPS-positioned MCM inspirational messages and audio support from their personal cheering squad.
Runners and spectators will be required to access the start areas through safety check points. Runners must use the clear plastic bag issued at Packet Pick-up for UPS bag check. Remember the entire MCM is a “no-drone” zone.
