Easiest way to the Expo is to take free shuttles from Eisenhower (yellow) or Van Dorn (blue) Metro stations. If driving, runners may park at National Harbor or the Gaylord National Resort. Get a discount on parking at the Gaylord with validation available at the Expo entrance.
Bring the eCard to the Expo for Packet Pick-up on Fri. Oct. 20 and Sat. Oct. 21 at the Gaylord National Resort. Stroll through an amazing variety of vendors and exhibitors including the MCM Brooks Store , Flags of Valor , Fond Memories Graphics and more.

Golden Tickets
Follow the  MCM on Twitter  for a chance to win a Golden Ticket for the 2018 Marine Corps Marathon. Throughout MCM Weekend, especially at the Expo , the MCM will tweet instructions where, when and what-to-do to win a guaranteed spot in next year’s MCM.  
Metro service begins at 6 a.m. on event morning. Use the  Pentagon Station  (blue/yellow) to access Runners Village .



The MCM opening ceremonies begin at 7:25 a.m. The skydive presented by Leidos happens during the National Anthem at 7:33 a.m. The wheelchair and hand cycle athletes start at 7:45 a.m. and the MCM launches at 7:55 a.m.
Safety Procedures
Use clear plastic drawstring bag and sticker from the back of the bib issued at Packet Pick-up for UPS Drop-off . Any other type of bag will not be accepted. Safety screening points at Runners Village open at 4:30 a.m. Remember if you see something, say something.
To get to the MCM , take free shuttles to Runners Village from Crystal City at the corner of 23rd and Crystal Drive. Shuttles will run from Gaylord National to the start until 6 a.m. and then between Eisenhower Metro station and Gaylord the remainder of the day.
Free parking is available at 23rd and Crystal Drive in Crystal City on MCM Day. Shuttles will run from this location to Runners Village before the MCM and then between Crystal City and the Finish Festival the remainder of the day.   Book a parking spot in advance using Parking Panda.
Start Line TV Coverage
NBC Sports Washington  hosts live  coverage and interviews from the MCM start beginning at 7 a.m. Check the  NBC Sports Washington website  on the evening of the MCM for video footage of every runner crossing the finish line. 

To exit after the MCM , use Metro from Rosslyn (blue/orange/silver) or take free shuttle to Crystal City from the corner of Oak Street and Wilson Boulevard in the Finish Festival. 
On the MCM Website , see the progress of a runner or runners visually represented by an icon moving along the MCM course map. 

Follow one or more runners in real time and receive updates by text or email. Another amazing option is to directly post live splits on a Facebook page or over a Twitter feed.


Motigo app will play MCM-specific motivational and informational messages along the MCM course. Runners can also invite friends and family to record personal cheers. Download the app and spread the word.  
MarathonFoto
MarathonFoto photographers in yellow vests  will take images of every runner in multiple locations including scenes at famous landmarks across the nation’s capital. The pics will be available for purchase . Stop by the MarathonFoto expo booth for special pre-MCM discounts and packages.
In the Hospitality area, Marines will provide Fyffes bananas ,  Wegmans bottled water,  Gatorade ,  Dole  fruit bowls, Oberto jerky , Beanitos puffs and the MCM recovery jacket. Please recycle and compost. The  Finish Festival  in Rosslyn features live music, food samples, info tent, family link-up, Mic Ultra Beer Garden and UPS Baggage Pick-up. Ring the GEICO Military PR Bell, if you earned it. Visit the Gold’s Gym recovery zone.  
Select MCM apparel items including the official jacket are available in the national capital area at Pacers Running  and  Potomac River Running. Purchase MCM apparel  and find out about in-store bib pickup. A limited supply of Brooks MCM Finisher items will be on sale at the Expo. Runners may also order online starting after the Expo for guaranteed two-day delivery. No finisher items will be on sale in the Finish Festival .
Spectator Blood Drive
Spectators are invited to join Inova Blood Donor Services by donating blood in the Finish Festival. Make an appointment to donate while a favorite runner is on the course by reserving a time online or calling 1-866-BLOODSAVES. Use code 8294. Donors will receive a limited edition 2017 Inova Blood Donor Services/MCM challenge coin, while supplies last.
