MedStar Sports Medicine, the proud Sports Medicine Partner of the MCM, is offering free runner education sessions with running physicians, physical therapists and athletic trainers.
Sessions will be hosted in May, July, August, September and October and include a fun run led by Michael Wardian. The programs will be held at the MedStar Health Orthopaedic and Sports Center at
Lafayette Centre in Washington, DC.

Registered runners who find themselves unable to participate in the MCM may
transfer an entry to an unregistered, hopeful marathoner beginning in July. A limited number of registered runners may choose to
defer an entry from 2017 to 2018 starting in August.

The world-renowned
Columbia Business School in New York City is introducing the
Executive Challenge to this year’s MCM. High-power military and civilian leaders, who are registered to participate in the MCM, can compete against other CEOs, presidents, commissioned military officers, and other senior executives to earn bragging rights as the fastest executive.

training workshops on Wed., May 3 at noon in Little Hall on Marine Corps Base Quantico and at 6:40 p.m. in DC at MedStar Health Orthopaedic and Sports Center at
Lafayette Centre. Bring questions and prepare to learn from the Walk-Run master.
