11,000 MCM entries will be made available through Rush Registration on the MCM website on March 21 at 9 a.m. eastern. These entries will be available for 25 minutes or until the entries are all claimed-whichever comes first. Runners will also be able to immediately purchase MCM Brooks Training Apparel, Carbo Dining In pasta tickets and the online runcoach training program.
After the Rush, comes the Lottery. Runners can sign up for the MCM Lottery from March 21 through March 28. During the Lottery, runners will fill out a personal information form. If successful, runners will receive a link to the official registration form on MCM Notification Day (March 29). Runners must complete this form to finalize registration.  

Registration for the MCM costs $170 plus processing. Products available during registration include the new Brooks MCM training apparel line, Carbo Dining In pasta tickets and the runcoach training program. Runners will see a preview of these products during the Lottery and be able to purchase after receiving the official link on March 29.
At all 2018 events organized by the MCM, runners age 17 and under can enjoy a 40 percent discount on registration as part of the Next Generation Inspiration Initiative . Make running a family event and sign up for the MCM or other running challenges .

During registration, tickets may be purchased for the MCM’s Carbo Dining In , pre-event pasta dinner to be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Gaylord National Resort. Stroll from the Expo to this motivational carb load featuring special guest speakers, iconic athlete Kathrine Switzer and internationally acclaimed writer Roger Robinson. The Singing Trooper will provide the musical entertainment.

The 6.2 mile run from the National Mall to the Marine Corps War Memorial opens registration on April 11. Held the same day as the MCM, October 28, the MCM10K features a scenic course, long sleeve technical shirt and an original, amazing medal. Also, opening registration on April 11 is the MCM Kids Run presented by Virginia529 . The one mile run happens on October 27 at the Pentagon parking lot and is open to kids age 5-12. The fun includes a family festival, hospitality for all runners, finisher medals, Tshirts and tons of mascots.

There are mud runs and then there’s  Run Amuck . At just over three miles, the mud and obstacle run will be held on June 23 aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico. More than 20 wild obstacles, mud pits and authentic down-and-dirty Marine Corps experiences. New this year-finishers receive a special challenge coin.
Marines know to reference Belleau Wood is to recall the origin of the nickname “Devil Dogs.” Run an 8K through the woods of Marine Corps Base Quantico on June 23 on the 100 th anniversary of the legendary battle in France. For those extra motivated, sign up to run both, the 8K and Run Amuck , on the same morning.
Individuals or groups may sign up to support runners alongside the Marines in volunteer positions on the course, at Packet Pick-up, at the start or finish lines of upcoming events.
