Our Connections teachers got together for team bonding and "dressed up as their future selves" which included being retired, enjoying good food, socializing with good friends and family, and playing bingo for awesome prizes. Our 7th grade team also had some bonding time at Waffle House! We love to see the team spirit and camaraderie!

Beginning in October the middle school counselors will be working with 6th, 7th, & 8th graders on the YouScience platform to complete career aptitude & interest profiles as well as introduction to Career Clusters and future career opportunities. Parents can also visit the YouScience website by clicking here.

Our school receives school-wide Title 1 funding to provide personnel, programs and supplies to all families in our school! As a requirement for this funding, we must share our Title 1 information and documents with stakeholders before November 1 each school year via in-person meetings, sending home information in folders, and sharing it electronically. Our land judging team of Logan Bertram, Leyton Hamrick, Jacob Henderson, & Daphnie Miller competed at the State Land Judging Competition at the Sunbelt Ag Expo & placed 11th.

We had 13 students attend the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia to learn about the agriculture industry and all it has to offer. 

We had 2 students compete at the Georgia National Fair with their market lambs. Katie won her First-Year Feeder class & placed 11th in the State market lamb showmanship. 

Congratulations to the MCMS Competition Cheer team on an awesome job at the last comp of the season! The future of competition cheer looks bright with these girls!
