More Re-Openings Scheduled

With key statewide health metrics continuing to trend in a positive direction, Governor Larry Hogan announced additional safe and phased reopenings through Stage Two of the 'Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery.'

Effective this Friday, June 12 at 5:00 p.m., indoor dining will be able to resume at restaurants across the state at 50% capacity with distancing and strict public health requirements. Also effective this Friday at 5:00, outdoor amusements and rides, miniature golf, and go-kart tracks may resume with appropriate health and safety protocols. Capacity restrictions at outdoor pools will increase to 50%.

Effective one week later, beginning next Friday, June 19 at 5:00, indoor gyms and other studio fitness activities may begin to safely reopen at 50% capacity with strict health, distancing, and sanitization measures. Casinos, arcades, and malls will also be able to begin resuming operations with strict safety protocols.

New Transportation Policy Director

Help us welcome Bong Delrosario to the MDOD team as the new Transportation Policy Director beginning June 3rd!

Mr. Delrosario started in the IT field earning a Bachelor of Science in IT/Networking from University of Phoenix before transitioning to a career in the disability field.  Most recently he worked as a recruiter for the League of People with Disabilities and, prior to that, served as an Outreach Specialist with the IMAGE Center.  In addition, Bong brings a strong passion for serving people, especially those in the disability community, and direct experience advocating for more accessible transportation.
