Maryland Farmer Dollars At Work
Earlier this month, LEAD Class XI toured a variety of farming operations on the Eastern Shore. Supporting this outstanding leadership program is one of many sponsored educational programs from Maryland Grain Checkoff Dollars.
This June fellows visited Schmidt Family Farm, Langenfelder Pork, Oksana's Produce Farm, and Arnold's Farm to see the diversity of agriculture on the Eastern Shore firsthand. The group also traveled to the Wye Research and Education Center and Boyle Brothers Grain Mill.
