Derecho storm in the Midwest
Iowa is still unsure of the total damage of corn across their state. Assuming anywhere from 5 to 10 million acres. This week a few farmers began tilling under their corn. The amount of stored corn and grain bins lost is unknown as well. The soybeans mostly appear to have survived.
Please keep these farm families in your prayers. As relief efforts become available, MGPA will keep you updated.
