The National Corn Grower’s Association is hosting their Leadership Academy on August 2-5, 2021 in St. Louis, MO, and January 24-26, 2022 in Washington D.C. Carbon markets are becoming a popular market for farmers. The Biden Administration has earmarked $30 billion to help pay farmers to implement sustainable practices and capture carbon in their soil. These sustainable practices allow farmers to collect carbon credits. You can read more here.

While most research is for single-crop soybeans, double-crop soybeans planted after winter wheat can increase their net returns. A recent study evaluated the profitability and risks associated with double-crop soybeans. Read more here.
