BigFuture Days
College Board is hosting virtual events for high school students to connect directly with college admissions representatives and take action on the most important steps for college.

BigFuture Day events are four hours long. You can drop in and out of the event at the times that work for your schedule. The College Panels and College Planning sessions will be recorded for future viewing. You need to register in advance to attend the live events and access the recordings. More info here.

Senior Scholarships
Scholarship Applications:
Criteria/Requirements:
The Inman family has established the following scholarship criteria:
  • A graduating senior who shows courage by going forward after a life-changing event, like a tremendous personal obstacle
  • A student who shows courage and determination over physical and/or learning disabilities, illness of self or a family member, the death of a loved one and/or unusually difficult circumstances at home
  • Student who will apply award to further educational or vocational goals
  • Submit an essay of 1500 words or less describing your courageous situation, being specific and giving details pertaining to your own story
Application due date: April 1, 2021
How to Apply: Complete and mail the Julie Inman Courage Award Application to SupportAbility, P.O. Box 4885, Irvine, CA 92616

In addition to the Julie Inman Courage Award, there are also additional Memorial Awards you may be eligible for based on your essay. Please include your specific disability, if you’re a cancer survivor, interested in the medical field, the legal profession or theatre arts.

It’s a great way to find out more information about a future major or career.  
Keep in mind most programs require letters of recommendation.
Begin the application process and request letters at least three to five weeks before the deadline.

CHOC Wellness: Dr. Ana d'Abreu
CHOC Wellness Ambassadors
The CHOC team at Mater Dei is looking for three hardworking, caring, and compassionate students to become CHOC Wellness Ambassadors. Our wellness ambassadors will learn more about mental health issues among adolescents and gain experience in both leadership and teamwork. CHOC will pick three ambassadors.
