Barnes and Noble Book Fair
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Book Fair! The teachers had a marvelous time reading to the children as well as getting some fabulous new books for their classrooms. Thank you Courtney Cornick for organizing this wonderful event.

Welcome to the Birthday Book Club!

Have you tried Lunch Bunch yet? Once the kids try it they usually want to do it all the time. There is no need to sign up in advance-just pack a lunch box and send it in. It is just $10 each time and your child will stay until 2 pm. Lunch Bunch is being offered in each class for now.
There are limited openings in several Enrichment programs. Contact us if you are interested in one.
Be sure to label everything that comes into school, with your child's name. This include lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets or sweaters, etc.
MECE has one opening in Kindergarten. Receive 3 free lunch bunches when you refer a friend and they register.
No Trash Snack challenge October 19 & 20-
In an effort to reduce the amount of trash at snack time we challenge you to try to pack a snack in all reusable containers or in recyclable containers. Every child that is able to have a trash free snack on October 19 or 20 will receive a MECE snack bag.
Clarification of Covid exposure policy
MECE is licensed by the Palm Beach County Health Department and is required to follow the CDC childcare guidelines which state a 10 day quarantine period for any person exposed to Covid. I know this is confusing because the Department of Education allows parents to decide if their child should quarantine. Please continue to let us know of any Covid exposures outside of school.

Each class is choosing a theme and the teacher will let you know if anything is needed. Mark your calendar now for Tuesday, October 26 at 9:15 for Miss Carmela, Miss Stephanie, Miss Liz, Miss Sharon, Miss Susan and Miss Cindy.
Wednesday October 27 at 9:15 for Miss Jillian, Miss Stephanie, Miss Chrissy, Miss Helene, and Miss Gina.

The purpose of the MECE Parent Association is to build a strong community among our pre-School and kindergarten parents; support the teachers and staff; and to raise funds to support the school. All parents of MECE students are members of the Parent Association. The MECE Parent Association plans numerous events and opportunities for parents to get involved and participate in the MECE Parent Association, thereby directly supporting the school and our children. |

Thank you Courtney Cornick for another fun and engaging Book Fair! We'd also like to thank our volunteers, Kate and Eric Albin, Tanya Engeberg, Rebecca Campbell, and Lana Kyrukhina for keeping the event running smoothly. We'd also like to thank our special readers Miss Tai, Miss Sharon B., Miss Helene, Miss Jillian, Miss Susan and Miss Sandie for giving our kids a spectacular storytime. We hope everyone that attended and had a great time.

Fun-filled art experiences for kids through online art classes, private small group classes and workshops, and parties where we can create together!
Classes are small to give individual attention and to give the opportunity to share with each other. I focus on process over product to allow kids to become engaged in their own creativity and create with freedom and develop a healthy creative habit!
