Welcome Breakfast
Join us Wednesday, September 6th, at 9:00 am in the Gathering Place for a light
breakfast and coffee. You'll meet other MECE families and hear about some of the things
the Parent Association does for the school.
Parent Association Meeting
It's our kickoff meeting! Join us Wednesday, September 13th at 9am in the Center Room
located upstairs in the MECE Building. If you signed up to be a Room Parent, we will
have a folder for you with all of the information you need to fulfill your duties and
responsibilities. We will be discussing the budget, book fair, family night out, the directory and the auction. Meetings typically run about 30 minutes with extra time after for any concerns or desired chatting.
Family Night Out
Join us at Five Guys in Boca Raton on September 12th from 4-8pm. Tell your friends, neighbors and family! You can also share the flyer on social media. Stay for dine in or takeout and Five Guys will donate 30% back to MECE!
Barnes and Noble Book Fair
The book fair is always a fun time with MECE families and teachers! We will have story
time with MECE teachers, a raffle, a scavenger hunt and some other fun activities! You'll be able to purchase new books handpicked by teachers to donate to the classroom and can do personal shopping with Barnes and Noble giving back a percentage of all sales to MECE. The bookfair is Sunday, September 17th, 2023 from 11am-2pm at Barnes and Noble in Boca Raton. We would really appreciate anyone who can give an hour to help staff our table or teachers'; wish lists area. MECE Directory / Yearbook
Our MECE directory has family contact info, a section with student well wishes and local
business advertisements. Send an encouraging well wish to your child along with their picture ($25 for one well wish, $40 for two). They will enjoy looking at their photos and their friends’ all year long. All photos are in full color. You can also advertise your business. Email meceparents@gmail.com for more information! MECE Marketplace
MECE Marketplace is back! We are currently organizing vendors for Marketplace on
Wednesday, September 27th from 8:30-12:30pm during conferences. We will have some wonderful vendors on site where you shop and some awesome raffle prizes. You can purchase raffle tickets ahead of time here MECE Marketplace - Cheddar Up or by cash at
the table. We are looking for volunteers to greet parents and sell tickets. If interested in a vendor table or to volunteer at the raffle table please contact Kelly at meceparents@gmail.com or 561-703-9935.
In Search of an Auction Chair!
We need your help! We are currently looking for a talented parent (or 2) to chair our
annual auction. Our auction is a completely silent, on-line event. The planning consists of
setting a date, forming an auction committee, soliciting businesses for donations,
inputting information into our auction site, monitoring the on-line auction in real time and concluding the auction/distributing winnings. Please reach out if this sounds like
something you'd like to do!!
