Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
Thank you to all of the families that contributed to make this such a special week! It started with a fabulous breakfast buffet, lunch from WhatSub as well as abundance of coffee pods that we will enjoy for months to come. Tuesday we all enjoyed an amazing coffee bar, a delicious lunch from Pura Vida, beautiful cupcakes and a rest, relax and recharge spa bags filled with goodies!! Wednesday we feasted on a wonderful buffet from Yard House
and Lazy Dog for lunch, as well as we all got to take home a great surprise gift! Thursday we will be treated to a smoothie from Tropical Smoothies and a delicious healthy lunch from Fresh Kitchen! Friday lunch is coming from V & S Deli and What's Sub!!! Although the most cherished gift was the books we received filled with loving messages from your child. We are truly grateful for Amy Kurschner, Kelly Koscso, Kristen McElwee, Samara Latson, Hanne Hilleren, Victoria Hanna, Chelsey Turbyfill, Stephanie Rasel, Kate Eisner, Paige Papaiozzou, Wendy McEvoy, Anna LaSalle, Frances Serpentini, Kat Lombardo, Lara Christie, Jamie Mazzurco, Liz Mattos, Paige White and all the parents who donated and did so much to make this week so special for us!
We feel so loved and appreciated!!
Thank you to all the parents that helped out with the Easter Parties!! The children truly enjoyed all the wonderful snacks, egg hunts and goodie bags!!

Water Safety
Thank you to Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County for coming and doing a presentation on Water Safety. The children learned about always swimming with an adult with them, what to look out for on the beach shore, the proper way to wear a life preserver, what the different color flags mean at the beach and to always wear sunscreen.
| | | | Thank you to all our MECE families that came out to Shake Shack for our MECE Family Night out. Thank you to Stephanie Rasel for organizing all of our MECE Family Night Outs this year. They truly are a wonderful way for the children to socialize outside of school and a great way for our Parent Association to raise funds.

| | Thank you to Boca Raton Public Library on Spanish River for coming and reading informative stories about Earth Day! The children truly enjoyed it and they even got to dance around bugs! | | | | | | Thank you to Stephanie Rasel for coming in and reading the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" It's talks about being a kind person and doing good things for others! | | | We want to express our gratitude to the Pastors and volunteers of the First United Methodist church for our weekly Bibletimes. Pastor Craig invites us to do Bibletime in the Sanctuary and it makes it extra special. Thank you Cindy Walls, Director of Family Ministries; Mary Bailes, Angela Ward, Debbie Woolsey, and our own Miss Lisa! | | | | | Miss Catherine's class recently released a butterfly they watch transform from a caterpillar. New Director, Katie Port
The MECE Board is thrilled to announce the hiring of Katie Port as the new Director. Cathy and Katie will work together this summer for a smooth transition in the fall.
Katie is excited to return to MECE (her boys attended here and she was a lead teacher previously)! Katie says, "For over ten years, my commitment to the field of education has been unwavering, driven by a deep passion for fostering the growth and development of young children. I firmly believe in creating a nurturing and Christ-centered environment where each child can flourish academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually."

All parents of MECE students are members of the Parent Association. The MECE Parent Association plans numerous events and opportunities for parents to get involved and participate in the MECE Parent Association, thereby directly supporting the school and our children. | | | |
Hello MECE Families!
It’s hard to believe this year is coming to an end so soon! It has been such a wonderful year with so much support from our families. Thank you to our families for volunteering, donating, and participating all year to make it a success! We look forward to planning some great events next year! Please join us!!
Family Night Out

End of Year Splash Pad Playdate

Teacher Appreciation Week
A huge thank you goes out to ALL of our families that contributed donations and time to make our Teacher Appreciation Week extra special. Thank you to our chair, Kristen McElwee, and all our volunteers that made the week a success! This week, we are providing our teachers with 5 lunches, 4 breakfasts, a coffee bar, spa and pampering
goodies, beauty gifts, gourmet cupcakes, lots of K Cups, smoothies, decorated cookies, monogrammed beach gifts, gift cards, a white elephant exchange, cash and “I Love My
Teacher” booklets!! We have an amazing and generous MECE community! The teachers
have expressed overwhelming thanks to all our families!!
Final PA Meeting
Please join us Thursday, May 15, in the Room after drop off for our final PA meeting. We will discuss plans for our final weeks and plans for next year! I hope that you will consider donating your time to the PA to chair an event or sit on
the board especially if you haven’t yet done so!! Our community and events contribute to making MECE the special place that we love!!
