2025 CHW Summit registration is now open! We've added a half-day workshop following the full-day Summit on June 24, 2025. Seats will be limited. More information to come very soon.

2025 Maine CHW Summit- Register NOW!!

Hello CHWs & Allies!

We are pleased to announce this year's Maine CHW Summit registration is NOW OPEN! Come join us as we celebrate our 2025 theme: "Building Leadership through Advocacy and Awareness". 

  • Summit Registration- CHWs and allies can Register Here until June 13 or tickets sell out.
  • Payment Tip: When you check out you will see "Help keep Zeffy free for MECHWI 💜 (optional)” with a suggested donation to cover the cost of payment processing. You can opt out of paying an additional fee, by selecting other and entering 0.
  • Scholarships- CHWs can request financial support for the Summit by completing this Scholarship Form. The form must be completed and approved before purchasing tickets, at which time you will receive a discount code.
  • Sponsors- You will receive a separate email detailing how to register for your table and free attendees. 

We also invite our members and partners to consider supporting the event through tabling, poster sessions, breakout presentations, and award nominations!

  • Exhibitor Tables- Space is limited. Please contact Bridgette Dairyko at bdairyko@mcd.org if you are interested.
  • Poster Sessions-Call for Summit Abstracts-Posters submit to Ben Hummel bhummel@mcd.org by May 16.

  • Award Nominations- Please nominate a CHW, supervisor, or ally to be recognized at the Summit using the Nomination Form.

MECHWI meets monthly. We share strategic updates; participants can network with other CHWs and learn from community programs and resources. All are welcome!

CHW Peer Support Group

The CHW Peer Support Group Meets Monthly!

Virtual meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 12:00pm.


The next group meeting is May 15th from 12:00pm- 1:30pm

This is a peer group for CHWs ONLY, to:

  • Provide Support to each other.
  • Address Barriers
  • Share Resources
  • Discuss Concerns
  • Leadership Training- Overcoming Procrastination

MCD's CHW apprenticeship program provides an opportunity for new and existing CHWs to develop professional skills through on-the-job training and continuing education provided by MCD’s training center. CHWs receive a CHW certificate from the Maine Dept. of Labor.



Throughout the program, CHWs have access to mentorship, support, and continuing education to further your skills.
