Kristine Heiman, managing broker of Best Home s Fox Valley has returned to the MEDC office in downtown Montgomery. Kristine moved into the MEDC office back in 2013 when she first opened Best Homes Fox Valley. Her good friend, John Szymczak and managing broker had passed away and she knew she wanted to open an office in Montgomery. A long time resident, Kristine has been in real estate since 1981. She currently has two agents with her. Jeffery Szymczak and Bobby Burson (photos below). Kristine has been very involved in the local realtor association, Realtor Association of the Fox Valley. She was elected on the Board this year and also serves on multiple committees. She believes this helps her stay informed on important issues in the area and communities she serves. She serves both Kane & Kendall counties. Best Homes Fox Valley is a full service real estate office and works with both residential and commercial properties. Kristine and her agents are committed to do their best to negotiate the best price and terms for you as the buyer or seller.

Plaque presentation

Village President Matt Brolley presented an appreciation plaque to Wanda Haltek and Joshua Hunter at the ribbon cutting event. The Plaque represents a collaborative effort from The Village of Montgomery, the Montgomery Economic Development Corporation and the Greater Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.
Everyone working together to build a great community.
Wanda has been extremely impressed with the warm welcome from the community.

The ribbon cutting celebration was held on December 18, 2018 after an early morning networking event. There was a great crowd welcoming Genesis Beauty Supply to the community. Cafe Delight catered the event and the and plenty of food for everyone.

Wanda spared no expense when she opened her business to Montgomery. She had several events including raffles, giveaways, a visit from Santa and plenty of refreshments served by Charmaine Banks, a local Montgomery resident. She was extremely happy at the warm welcome and steady flow of customers coming in to welcome her.

We have a committed group of board members that represent a variety of business that have been a part of the organization since the MEDC was founded in 2003. The MEDC along with the business community leaders have helped create an environment that provides resources and opportunities for businesses to grow and flourish in our community.
