HONOLULU (December 20, 2023) – The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA Hawaii) is pleased to announce the appointment of Roseann Freitas as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer effective December 20, 2023.
Freitas has an extensive history of financial, organizational and operations management experience. During her tenure with the Better Business Bureau Great West & Pacific as their Public Relations & Communications Manager serving Alaska and Hawaii, Freitas has proven to be an experienced business leader and communication and marketing professional excellent at building relationships with business professionals, government organizations, media, and team members, focusing on establishing brand awareness and developing strategic growth opportunities and partnerships.
“I am honored to have been selected as BIA Hawaii’s next CEO. It is a privilege to be part of an organization representing the Voice of Hawaii’s construction industry,” said Freitas. “I am committed to BIA Hawaii’s mission to advocate on behalf of the building industry. I see tremendous opportunity to contribute to developing the sustainability and growth of the building industry in Hawaii. I look forward to serving the membership and industry.”
