New York, The Bronx-- Tomorrow, May 14th Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will be joining Beauty Salon and Barber Shop owners and employees as they demand that the City allow them to reopen with the proper preventative measures. Many of the owners and employees of these small businesses do not qualify for unemployment benefits, have not received financial support from the City's Small Business Services or the Federal Government's Small Business Administration. These small businesses are primarily composed of working-class, immigrant, New Yorkers many of which dis not receive for the financial assistance afforded to others.
